Rejected title per lacking evidence, despite I provided Wikipedia page and streaming page with all the episodes!

Hello, as per title, I am trying to add to the database "Indietro tutta!", a famous Italian TV series from the eighties. I submitted it three times with all the mandatory informations plus some miscellaneous links for verification, the first time (#200401-161612-665000)
I just provided the wikipedia page for the program (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indietro_tutta!) thinking it was enough (as it generally is), the second time (#200402-124032-829000)
I added two links, one of them being the official page in (producer and distributor) RAI website (http://www.teche.rai.it/programmi/indietro-tutta/), the third time (#200403-091335-990000) I added a total of 7 links, including the official page in RaiPlay (https://www.raiplay.it/programmi/indietrotutta) a free (and legal) streaming service which allow to watch all the 65 episodes of the series, plus articles from major Italian publications such as Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica. It goes always rejected per "Lack of supporting evidence".

As I cannot think a human editor can't see the plenty of supporting evidence I provided (otherwise he should instantly fired!), I assume it is a bot which reject it for whatever reason. So I ask you to manually review the title. I just re-submitted, code #200404-091154-745000. Thanks in advance.

Rejected again... at this point let me know what's the issue and how to proceed to have this new title added...

I'm not a staffer, but I can say that IMDb doesn't consider Wikipedia to be a reliable source.

from personal experience (I added over a thousand new titles to IMDb, episodes excluded, and I was a top contributor in the last 3 years), at least until a month ago IMDb has considered Wikipedia to be a reliable source for at least a couple hundreds of my contributions. I don't know if something changed lately... btw I added 8 links, so it is not just Wikipedia... If the issue can be solved with more "miscellaneous links" I can provide literally hundreds, but it looks like the addition of this particular title is blocked, or maybe one of the inserted datas triggers a bot blocking the update, or something like that. A  clarification from a staffer would be enlightening.

I'm not a staffer also. But IMDb in their help topics sites Wikipedia as a non trusted site. Wikipedia is taken in conjunction with other forms of proof however as corroboration. But as a single sole source it will get a submission rejected.
Up until a month ago maybe you had been a trusted contributor. Your submissions most likely were not being scrutinized. If it was found that you had been basing some of your submissions solely on Wikipedia, that may have triggered a flag on your submissions overall and are causing these rejections. Avoid Wikipedia altogether and you should have no issues. I know better than to use any Wiki site for a submission.

I suppose that they aren't considering Wikipedia as a valid source of information, because like IMDb, the data of Wikipedia come from everyday users, except that Wikipedia doesn't verify frequently their information to make sure that it is trustworthy.

On unpopular webpages, a wrongful edit can stay on their site for up to one month, and maybe even more.

I know of invalid information on Wikipedia that has been there for years because there are only a few people that really know that the data is incorrect, and do not care to correct it. Me included. It is not related to TV and Films.
This article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_B_engine has around 40+ inaccuracies that have never been corrected. For over 20 years!

I would say it’s pretty clear that this title exist, I found one English language link in 30 seconds:
https://books.google.fi/books?id=WvGG...

Do you know the main cast&crew, production company/distributers, release date of the first episode, broadcast years etc? Wikipedia is probably a moot point here if there are other links/sources and info.

Why is everyone replying like Wikipedia was the only link I added in the submission? I know it looks like a wall of text, but please read the opening message again, there are multiple additional sources provided... including the page on RaiPlay where you can stream each and every episode.
@ Ed Jones(XLIX), I submitted three new titles in the meanwhile, plus dozens of multiple others corrections, all approved in a matter of minutes-a hour, so I can easily assume I am still a trusted editor.
@ Eboy, yes, I added literally everything you listed in your message, the last rejected submission consists of 38 items/datas.

It’s probably now best to wait for the official reply from IMDb staff. If the title exist, there are sources and at least ”enough” cast&crew credits, this probably should’ve accepted. Maybe the staff has some answers. Could be just a honest mistake by their part.

Hi Stefano,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you have had difficulties in getting your title submission approved. I have resubmitted this again on your behalf and can confirm that this has now been approved. Please be aware it can take up to 24 hours for it, and all of the attached data, to appear on all platforms.

Many thanks again.

Jay
