Hello. Looking for some new tv series to watch, I came across "Highest Rated TV Series Released In 2013" (http://www.imdb.com/search/title?at=0...). That list looked promising, so I sorted it on User Rating (who has enough time to watch everything, right?). The second item listed then became "101 Ways to Get Rejected (2013– )" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2710516/) with a rating of 9.2/10. That looked promising. Following that link, however, shows "Ratings: 5,0/10 from 6 users". Looks to me like the arithmetic is wrong, somewhere? Regards from The Netherlands

"101 Ways to Get Rejected (2013– )" only has 5 votes, so setting a minimum number of votes to 1000 or another minimum, would produce better results.

Regarding the weighted average vote of 5.0 / 10:
Weighted Average Ratings

IMDb publishes weighted vote averages rather than raw data averages. Various filters are applied to the raw data in order to eliminate and reduce attempts at 'vote stuffing' by individuals more interested in changing the current rating of a movie than giving their true opinion of it.

The exact methods we use will not be disclosed. This should ensure that the policy remains effective. The result is a more accurate vote average.
