The poll page:?

As you can guess, what is the best movie, made for television movie or televised play that has the name of a common weekday in the title? (I’m sure this has been done before.)
You can check your weekly schedule planner for the discussion group on this here.

You could call the Poll "Eight Days a Week"!
My Choices are Tuesday Weld and Misty Munday!
I'll take the Steadman sisters too!

Actually I couldn’t find one for Monday. And I was looking. I thought “First Monday” which is about the U.S. Supreme Court. I thought it was a movie but it was a tv show with James Gardner.
Wait a moment! I did find one. Look at number 26, “Stormy Monday” (1988) . The title even sounds better than “Misty Mundy”.

so many good choices... the stark documentary 'murder on a sunday morning'...the classic 'his girl friday'...the goofy 'saturday the 14th'...you should even add the phenominal film 'bloody sunday' starring james nesbitt...

and although 'bloody sunday' is hard to beat...i always have to go back to the classic 'if its tuesday this must be belgium'...saw that in a movie theatre back in the sixties...my first exposure to ian macshane...been a fan ever since...

Added. Thank you. If BTW, since you said you were a big fan of Ian Macshane, I got him in a film where he has a small role but it is, IMHO, one of the best murder mysteries ever filmed, The Last Of Sheila” (1973). It is a devilishly clever little gem where I defy anyone to figure it out ... unless they figure out the clue in the title of the film.

dgranger,

It would be helpful to have a shorter title, such as the one that Ed suggests:
Eight Days a Week

Or:
Seven Days of Films Makes One Week
These are the Days of Our Film

- - -

It may make for sense to order the choices by day of the week rather than popularity of the film.

Seven Days in Film and TV!!
That would work too.
or
Days of our Movies and TV

For you to ponder!

Done, but I went old school. Remember when broadcast tv used to show movies in prime time? They used titles like “The Sunday Night Movie”, “The Late Night Movie”, “The ABC Movie Of The Week”, “The Afternoon Movie”, “The NBC Mystery Movie”? Well - “The Each Weekday Movie”.
I could have used “The IMDb Each Weekday Movie” but that would have been presumptuous and I would have been stepping out of bounds.

Couldn't we choose one for each weekday? No? Okay, then I take an old one: 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'

Added a new one, “People on Sunday”. The most interesting part of this film is in the note to the entry - it is a shocker!
