danny elfman's grossly overlooked 'batman' score gets my vote... incredible to listen to from beginning to end...

Danny Elfman is one of the greates composers. I don't know how often I wanted to know who did this soundtrack after watching a movie and then realized: It is Danny Elfman. So I can completly understand your choice.

P.S.: At the beginning of the batman titles I got a slight rememberance of the movie 'Silence of the lambs', which score was composed by Howard Shore. Just a few tones at the beginning, maybe 5 or six tones.

That should say "its", no apostrophe.

You also have a typo in the title, "Instanly" >> "Instantly"

Thank you, Peter. I don't know how this could happen. Maybe I should check the batteries of my keyboard. I corrected the little mishaps. ;)

Breumaster,

I really like this poll.

= = =

1. Correct spelling of "instantly".
2. Bring is better idiomatic English than Recall.

Please change:
Scores That Instanly Recall Movies to Your Mind

To:
Scores That Instantly Bring Movies to Mind

= = =

1. "It's" is a contraction of "it is"; "Its" is possessive
2. Bring is better idiomatic English than Recall.

Please change your question from:
Which of these widely known instrumental scores recalls it's movie best to your mind?

To:
Which of these widely known instrumental scores best brings its movie to mind?

Thank you Dan, I'll do it instantly. ;D
Btw: I changed two music links to youtube:
Pirates of the carribean (the one used was the version of Hans Zimmer, so I corrected the link)
and Jaws - The used videos had sound failures like from old record players.

You're welcome. My ressources are limited, but I try to pick out the best parts of what I can get. IMDb is a great help on that. It's fun to be creative. ;)

canged option#7 completely, took the more powerful score of '...on strager tides' and of course the movie link of the same movie and changed the composer link to Hans Zimmer, because this one he composed and it is much more dominant. Sorry, it was a blitz-idea. ;D

Joe, I forgot to mention your name on the taxi driver option. If you want, I'll put it to  the list and ask for a re-push.

Changed the image of the 'Halloween' score. First there was an image of 'Halloween'. But the outstanding score was of 'Halloween II', even though it wasn't very much different, but more diverse.
