cinephile there is a mistake in the suggestion, as that photo/screencap is most definitely Hong Kong which is featured in several sequences of The Dark Knight (2008) as Batman went there to retrieve Lau.

As for my choice, I'm really torn between picturesque matte-heavy Gotham of Batman (1989) (which earned Anton Furst and Peter Young a well-deserved Oscar), winter version from Batman Returns (1992) and Gotham in "Gotham" (2014). Great suggestion, anyhow!

I don't understand why there are non-Gotham cityscapes (#7) as answer options; when the question is Which view of Gotham city is your favorite? As Nikolay Yeriomin points out the image is of Hong Kong, not Gotham. If the distinctive cityscape isn't proof positive, the signature windows shown in both the image and video clip should be. Plus, all the characters speaking Chinese helps validate the setting isn't Gotham.

Hi,

Please remove "Poll Suggestion" from your list title, and edit the title to:
Which View of Gotham City Is Your Favorite?

Please also add a question mark in the question:
In several movies and TV series we can see Gotham City, but which view of Gotham City is your favorite?

If you look at the top left of the skyline, I'd swear that is the silhouette of the Adams Family House!!!
I prefer the gothic Gotham City of Tim Burton.

Bumping this topic every few hours is not necessary, especially if things already quiet around here anyway. Best to provide a new bump only once a week.

I prefer Gotham City in The Dark Knight trilogy without any doubt. Although, I wouldn't lump them all together as one. (I would think you could find a screenshot from scene when Batman is on the tram headed to Wayne tower) I added these for you.

Barely CGI-enhanced Chicago as Gotham in The Dark Knight.

Could you slow down please, cinephile?! He was probably trying to edit his post when you replied to it (three times in a row), which prevents him from editing it. This is not a chat room.

Gotham City Metropolitan Area lies on an archipelago and is a major economic center within the United States of the DC Universe.

Jeorj Euler, Notice how much less daunting it was to escape Gotham in The Dark Knight (Chicago)

than it was The Dark Knight Rises (New York).

Your biggest worry was not leaving during rush hour (The Dark Knight) or that fans would notice you have a continuity problem (The Dark Knight Rises).

Alright. I will confess that I've only seen The Dark Knight Rises once, maybe twice, and that was a few years ago, so I was not really accounting for it in my critique. The screenshot from the particular movie looks like a modified Manhattan. Just like with the case with the predecessor, it would be nice if the location had been made less recognizable.

You have some typos:
#6: I prefer Gotham when we see the Wayne tower.
#8: Batman probably has a good view here.
#17: I hate this poll, or I prefer Gotham in Batman: The Animated Series.
#19: My choice is not here, or I don't know what Gotham is or who Batman is.

What is the intention behind the phrasing of some of the last options? I don't understand. It's probably better to keep it simple for voters.

"I prefer Gotham in the sunshine, or I prefer Gotham in Batman (1966)"

"I like this poll, or I prefer Gotham in The Lego Batman Movie."
