I fully appreciate that you prefer symmetry with your Ariel poll. However, if you decide to break that symmetry, I have an off-the-wall suggestion:
Tyler Perry as his character Madea
The character Madea is manipulative as Ursula albeit campy.
From the Greek Μηδεια (Medeia), possibly meaning either "to ponder" or "cunning". In Greek mythology Medea was a sorceress from Colchis (modern Georgia) who helped Jason gain the Golden Fleece.

Melissa McCarthy is in talks to play Ursula... guess Breumaster was right! I suppose they're going for a more kiddish version; I still say Streep or Benatar would be a great Sea Witch!

Melissa McCarthy will do right! The first time I saw her, I knew she will have a big career. She has guts, so she is good for Ursula.
The nower Disneys are ok, but the last ones are weak, I think. Alladin has no real Jafar. Even the trailer reveals the lack. I guess 'The Lion King' is too far from original, we will watch it later on stream. But the Mulan trailer seems ok for us. Maybe we'll take this one at cinema.
