Love the title. When I had read the title, two films came into my mind (“Kill Bill: Volume One”, “Suicide Squad”) and two actresses. This is going to be light on the qualification side.
First, the too actresses and then the films which I suggest to mine for entries for other than what I suggest. Also include “Hero” and “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
Lucy Liu - https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005154/?... When she drives to go beyond Asian-American roles (as not to be type cast) while stoke maintaining her heritage, her bio does state “She practices the martial art of Kali-Eskrima-Silat (knife-and-stick fighting), skis, rock climbs, rides horses, and plays the accordion.” (For a joke, accordions are a dangerous instruments to play. Those things are heavy and pinch.)
- Tsai Chin (a Bond girl as “Ling, Chinese Girl in Hong Kong” in “You Only Live Twice”). While there is nothing in her bio about her studying martial film involving martial arts. She also has a fine list of films that don’t involve martial arts fighting like: Lindo In “The Joy Luck Club” (one of my favorite films), the voice of Tokyo Rose in “The Bridge on the River Kwai”, Sui-Lan in “The Inn of the Sixth Happiness”, the voice of the old woman in “Titan A.E.”, a minor part in “Casino Royal”(2006), and Auntie In “Memoirs of a Geisha.
Speaking of Bond, from “Tomorrow Never Dies” - Michelle Yeoh
Now movies:
- “Suicide Squad”’s Karen Fukuhara. Her bio states “She is a martial arts champion, trained in karate and sword fighting.” and “Currently has a brown belt in Kyokushin Karate.”
The entire female cast of “Kill Bill: vol 1” other than Lucy Lou who was already mentioned here.

Will work on additions tonight.
Just came in to look at the computer before I head off to the P.O.
I live in the Mojave. It's a drive into town for the big packages.
Gotta get a car ready for paint the rest of the day.
You'll see the changes just before your B-Time or tomorrow AM

More?
I am too attentive to suggest more here. In Ed's initial list, there is a link to the basic list which in its turn includes 49 names. Among them, Angela Mao (3d place) having several skills, who is not included for this poll...

In addition to the 49 (or much better instead of some there), I could possibly suggest Mickey Facchinello who is perfect in Alita (as stunt double for most powerful performance) and also Jessie Graff... But who are they comparing to Angela Mao nicknamed as "Queen of Kung Fu" by people, not by promoters? Thanks to Angela, women are much more involved in martial arts on screen; they were mostly played by males before.

Angela had a lack of Images. She was 3rd on the list. Not 3rd place. That list was the makers idea of who he liked.
Please MtP make a suggestion for inclusion. With a photo that shows her skills off. With photo gets a higher consideration.

Ha-ha. I've not seen this.
Ed, you must be know my vote ;)
But anyway, it is still hard to prefer someone over Cynthia...
Not for her very long list. Just because she is the acting icon reflected in consciousness.

If you mean Rodriguez, she is an actress, not a pro-fighter.
I don't know is it OK to place pure actresses into the row with Cynthia who is Bruce-she and Chuck-she in one person ;)))

PS: or you mean Mickey F.

PPS: Ed, if only poll format could let Chinese, I do want this 羅芙洛 to be added to the Cynthia's description. The name is magic for those who had recognized and loved her before the USA accepted their own resident star.

In that case, insert the following string of codes into the markup:
羅芙洛

Jeorj, those codes might be for contributing bio.
They are not helpful for lists, and I don't know how they live in polls.

No. They definitely do not work for contribution bios or plots. Do they also not work for IMDb list descriptions? I've not actually checked. I made an inference based upon the old swiki interface, since it uses the same markup system as IMDb user profile descriptions and IMDb list descriptions.

Not working in lists. I've tried before, and re-checked now for sure.
As Ruby said, the polls may be not pushed because of dollar sign :(

PS: it's a kind of mystification, now I see how it all going... It works in lists, but has to be input in two steps 8)

Thank you.
What could I do without spamming filters... ))

OK, the same but another way:
Ed, if you want Cynthia to be additionally stylized with her first stage name:
  1. Copy the code provided above by Jeorj;
  2. Input the code in Cynthia's description in your list;
  3. Complete the list edit by clicking "done";
  4. Again edit the list + click the description (the code turns into symbols);
  5. Input "space" to force the save button appear and click it.
But then it may prevent the poll pushing (I'm not sure).

It's a tough question because if you're not familiar with martial arts, some names won't ring a bell and if you are and if you know at least 75% of these talented women, how would you tell who's the best since they don't play the same types of martial arts in the first place?

Sorry, when I think of Martial Arts, the first names that pop up are the usual suspects, you know Bruce Lee, JCVD, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Jet Li etc... and the only movies I'm familiar with and that do justice to female martial artists are "Crouching Tiger" and "Kill Bill" ...

ElMo,
   You know me! I don't sometimes make polls for the masses. I try to be different. The women never seem to get enough recognition in this area. Other than Cynthia, I too was not familiar with almost all on the list.
But you can bet that there are a lot of women that DO know who these ladies are.

I say add a pic of Mulan (animated or live action) and caption it,
'She might be from a movie but she's got moves!'

LOL, thanks - I don't particularly like Mulan, but I think she would be an interesting addition to the list.  Of course, we'll have to wait for Ed - once you let one fictional-animated character, you've got to let in them all.

dgranger, more precisely she is a historical figure which also entered mythology and, through such, fiction.

Yes, (pretty much all myth was inspired at least a little by real people) I just meant that the Mulan that would be on the list is not a 'current athlete' or even an actress; therefore she is fictional.

Ed, you really need to make one ground decision as for inclusion limits, and announce it. Because here I see some other demands (very different) that may result into no idea when mixed together.

The initial list for this poll is what has stopped me here to think, to search, and so on. There is only female martial artists, who also acting in movies. All the rest suggested further needs to be examined carefully, or the initial idea is lost to the benefit of something another.

Is this poll devoted to real martial artists?
Or this poll is all-inclusive, and any fight choreography is welcome?

PS: and maybe the latter variant will be more appreciated in the sense of quantity (more votings).

Okay, that was a slow thinking process, but still FYC:
Caity Lotz - has training in taekwondo, wushu, Krav Maga, kali martial arts and muay Thai. Also practices parkour and tricking which could be used as techniques in martial arts.
Lexi Alexander - is primarily a director, but did some acting. Has a third-degree black belt in Shotokan karate, is a World Kickboxing Association world champion in karate-point fighting, was on German National Team in kickboxing and also studied judo. Is also practicing Russian martial arts technique Systema.
