NIA Tim Burton was meant as a funny!!!
That was not me being serious.
Joel and Ethan would be serious, or Give me $250,000 and I'll make it.
Of course someone would have to release the rights to it to me and would have to take a back-end deal on the profits. Just Dreaming!!! California Dreaming that is seeing as that's where I am at! And no ones getting fat except Papa Jones. (Me)

Since Murray has aged considerably since G.D. he would be perfect for the remake.
And with all the G-Day talk, I have added it.

As long as the storytellers, script doctors, storyboard artists, producers, film directors, cinematographers and film editors of/for a given original movie all feel like "there is more where that came from", I'm probably game for a sequel to that movie. I don't want their motives to have much if anything to do with studio demands unless the filmmakers happen to own the studio.

Can this be made live again as a new poll? Finding the old one does not have to happen.
That would be a nice thing if you could do that.

So, here it is - this is just the way I imagine it.  :)

'It's been about 25 years since Danny Madigan traveled through the screen.  Widowed, he now owns Nick's old theater, which is failing.  His two teenage children think he is pulling their leg when he tells them of the magic ticket.  But with a new Jack Slater reboot hitting the screen (still starring Schwarzenegger), Danny grabs the magic stub and takes his children on an adventure in the movie!  Meanwhile in the real world, a strange young woman uses the long-lost other half of the ticket to rally villains and monsters from old and recent film to attack New York - and only the Madigans and an aging Jack can save the city!
There is also plenty of soundtrack from AC/DC, and you bet Slater can still say, "Big Mistake!"'

Thanks.

Okay, I'v tried to make it tinier.  :)

'In present day, theater-owner Danny and his cynical children travel into the new Jack Slater revival thanks to the magic ticket!  But when a dangerous young woman in the real world gets a hold of the other magic stub and uses it to bring countless film villains/monsters to life, only the Madigans and an aging Jack can save the world!'

A sequel to Inception would also be great and I would take the boldness to write a brief irrelevant synopsis;
20 or 30 years later Ariadne looks for Cobb to help her in a mission, for this they will have to return to the business and they will face a much more dangerous threat that would put their lives at risk, only for Cobb to discover that it is a betrayal and now they are inside their dreams extracting their ideas, they will go from being the extractor to being the extracted one

I might appreciate a television mini-series set in the same universe as Inception, if there is significant world-building, expanding upon what kinds of things a dream maker might be able to do. Thus far, extraction of memories and inception of ideas have been addressed, but what about deletion (suppression) of memories?

I love the intro. and title. : ) Good, funny poll, too.

May I suggest a few edits?

#1: that graduates College at 15 with a Masters in Theology and Astronomy.

#17: Is "recreations" a title or part of a title? Is it referring to "Parks & Recreation?" Perhaps clarifying it would help voters.

Thanks, Ed.
