Intro:

Like for the ladys, only one poll is too less for all the wonderful getleman, so here is part two. Aging is a terrible thing for many people. I formerly made a list of Hollywood actresses who don't need to hide, because they aged very well and when I made a second list because of the big response, there also was a call for an list of well aged actors. So this is the list of well aged Hollywood actors 55+. Which of them would you mostly consider as well aged man? Tell me about him.

Rules:

He has to be or have been popular.
He should be 55+ (I don't count on a few weeks difference, but not more than 3 month)
He should still live, the day it really becomes a poll. (in case of accidents, etc.)
He should also be a movie actor

List:

I've put three of dan_dassow's suggestions on the list. It's full - no more options available. Are you ready for a third suggestion? yay or nay? When yay, I'll do a third suggestion.

There's probably enough material for a third... your first ladies one went live today, so the concept is in demand!

The idea seems to be popular for many people. I wonder no one else picked the subject. But ok, I'm happy with it. So now I have three additional lists that can go live, if the jury wants that. But on the other hand, I first want to see a second one go live, before I do much work on a third list. Thank you for the positivity. If there are more yay-voices or suggestions, I'll work out a third list. But I also think - to be fair - it would need another lady list before a third bloke list. Let's first see what happens. ;)

I like him, too. Specially for his movies about history ('Dances with Wolf'), Environment ('Waterworld'), Sports ('Draft Day'). I could write up some more movies. He really is a good guy! :D

I mixed both lists a little to get the more popular to the first list.
So your suggestion might be on the other list.

Mel Brooks for me. I love his takes on Abraham Van Helsing and Rabbi Tuckman (Brother Tuck), and (to a lesser point) I enjoy various of his earlier roles.  I only dislike his take on Louis XVI. It resembles more the famously womanizing Louis XV, than Louis XVI who was painfully shy and had problems procreating.

The runners-up for me are Bill Murray, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ian McKellen, and Clancy Brown. They have breathed life to many of my favorite films, often portraying eccentric and complex characters.

I don't like Tom Hanks. Most of the films with him I have seen are boring dramas with shallow characters. He showed some promise in his 1980s comedies, but he has completely wasted it.

Mel Brooks never ceases to amaze me. Just recently discovered this:

Offensive? Maybe a bit, although if someone can make it work it's Brooks: actual veteran of World War II AND Jewish. Also, one of those music videos that is not on IMDb yet so I'm adding it right now, then.

I think Clancy Brown is strongly underrated! He is one of my favs on the list.
I hope I will see many more movies with him. I did like his  performance
specially in 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Starship Troopers' and 'The Guardian'.

I think 'Shawshank Redemption' gained it's success not only by a very good script, camera department, cutting, director and big actors. It also had very many big performing "little" actors. Bob Gunton, William Sadler, James Whitmore, Jeffrey DeMunn, Frank Medrano, Mark Rolston and so on. I guess there was some magic in this crew and cast to fulfill a magic work. Sometimes it does not need just big names to do magic. For me all of this crew and cast are great. Specially in this movie summon. So the atmosphere is magical for me every time I see it again. I guess I've seen it 15 times. It never gets boring!
