Given how relatively low Ferdinand and Boss Baby are rated on IMDb, you might want to replace them (and a few other lower rated movies) with

1. The Tale of The Princess Kaguya (2013) 8

Bilal A New Breed of Hero
3. Bilal: A New Breed of Hero (2015)   I have absolutely no idea what this movie is. But it has at least 5000 votes and rated an 8.

Chaar Sahibzaade
4. Chaar Sahibzaade (2014)        I have absolutely no idea what this movie is. But it has at least 5000 votes and rated an 8.

Song of the Sea
8. Song of the Sea (2014)

Wolf Children
10. Wolf Children (2012)

A Silent Voice
12. A Silent Voice (2016)

I see that Princess Kaguya and Song of the Sea are in the list now.

A Silent Voice and Wolf Children are also good candidates based on the ratings.

What about Isle of Dogs?

Isle of Dogs is super fun of course. I personally place it far over Princess Kaguya ... but submitted Princess Kaguya because it's a lesser known anime that people (not myself) love and Wes Anderson's latest is pretty well known (all things considered).

Peter/Stephen,

Thanks for your input - I've also now swapped out Boss Baby for Isle of Dogs; that definitely seemed like a no brainer. But the other two Stephen's mentioned are good as well so I'll have to see if I can find room for them...

You also might want to leave a space open for Frozen 2.  :)

Personally, I think the Pixar film Up may be the most beautiful, funny, and moving animated film of all time and deserves to be on this list!

Up is from 2009, so it’s a different decade

Rachel Jilek, I'd say it's totally okay to be confused about decades. After all, mathematically they end up in 00's, so 2010 is technically from another decade, as well. Still, culturally people are used to divide in the likes of 90's and 10's.
