The Badger State is the nickname of Wisconsin. In 1848 it became the 30th state of the United States of America. These movies have a connection with Wisconsin. It's a topic in the story or they are (partially) filmed in Wisconsin.
Which movie (or movie poster) do you associate the most with Wisconsin?

Great list. My pick would likely be Starman (1984), which is one of my all-time favorite movies.

I haven't noticed if it's been the same on your other state polls...but it seems kind of pointless to use films that aren't set in Wisconsin. Isn't the "Wisconsin-ess" the main thrust of the poll?

For example, you have the remake of The Amityville Horror on this list. That movie (based somewhat on real events) is famously set on Long Island in NY. Seems silly for it to be on a Wisconsin list. That's just one example...

Thanks for your comment. I understand it can be weird to see some movies in the list. But I think that you can have associations on different ways. Also if a movie is set in an other state. For example Jumanji (1995). The movie is set in New Hampshire. But there are scenes taken at the historic Olde Woolen Mill in Maine. So the people from Maine can have an association with this movie.

And I think it’s good to have an extension list. People can choose the Film with the best association.
