Ed,

For your consideration:

The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1969–1972)
Widower Tom Corbett raises his young son Eddie.

Widower Tom Corbett must raise his son Eddie (originally seven) who is always scheming to get his dad remarried. Tom is a magazine publisher, Mrs. Livingston is his housekeeper, Tina is Tom's secretary, Norman is a photographer, and Joey is a friend of Eddie's.

People let me tell ya about my best friend!
I had it on and pulled it because of low ratings.
But I'll put it back in. Matter of fact It was the first thing that came to my mind. Was shocked that it is not remembered by anyone but us "Old Folks" ! LOL

Ed,

I suspected that you excluded "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" because of low ratings. It is also the first series that came to mind when I saw the title of your poll suggestion.

I loved that show when I was little but I'm a bit perplexed: I couldn't possibly have known it when it was originally on. I guess it must have been re-runs. Come to think of it, re-runs were also on some cable channel within the past ten years because I saw Jodie Foster on the series, lol.

So did I. Boys are not supposed to like shows like that. But I did anyway!
