My vote goes to Joker or The Irishman!

Most likely Joker.

It's been so long since a DC film won an Oscar.

Last year, Black Panther won 4 Oscars, making a record for comic-book films. This is the chance for DC to break that record.

Well, It already has more nominations than Black Panther, so there's a good chance of winning more Oscars.

Stephen Atwood, regardless of one's opinion on the movie, it's highly unlikely to be that kind of a snub with such a whopping number of nominations.

According to statistics, it will win between 4 and 6 Oscars. If they give 0 Oscars to Joker, the public will crucify the Academy Awards.

And it is ver unlikely to happen since it happened only twice in Oscars history for TURMING POINT (1977), THE COLOR PURPLE (1986).

I really want Parasite (2019) to win. But I suspect Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019) will take the top prize while Bong Joon Ho will get Best Director and Best International Feature.

I'm not betting on the Tarantino movie (I'm not explaining again why I hate Tarantino), I want Joker to win and it will.

I haven't seen parasite so I can't judge on that, but I'm beginning to hate this movie, because now Parasite has and higher rank than Joker in the Top 250. I mean "Joker" for some reason is losing a rank almost every day, probably because of  Marvel Fans and Trolls.

Anyway, I tend to hate movies that stole my favorite movie of the year, that happened when 1917 won at the Golden Globes to Joker, when The Shape of Water won at Oscars to Dunkirk. I mean since I began to watch Oscars, the movie that won the top award is the one that I consider the worst. This year, I promised that if Joker doesn't win, I don't watch any other award ceremonies of my life (except if Nolan is nominated. Each time the movie that I consider the best lose, I throw my Headphones on the ground... if I rage every year like this, I'm gonna need to buy new ones.

Imagine the Little Women, Ford v Ferrari, or the Jojo Rabbit winning the award.

Ford v Ferrari doesn't have any steam behind it (no direction or acting nominations). Safe to say that has a 0% chance of winning. Jojo Rabbit has the greatest chance to be the dark horse of this year's ceremony (direction and screenplay and S.J for the acting nom). I say it might be the Green Book of 2020 (and will likely get as much stinkeye if it wins though its a far more enjoyable and better film than Green Book).

I'd fly over the moon from joy if Little Women won. Not holding my breath because of the Greta Gerwig directorial snub.

There are still many 2019 films I haven't seen. So, I can't judge yet.

This reminds me of the good ol' days, back on the poll board, when we did the prediction contest for the Oscars.

Whether it wins or not, it is kind of wild that a Korean movie is leading this poll on IMDb.

For this category, my prediction is 'Once Upon...' but I truly want 'Parasite' to win and create history.

Trivia: No Foreign Language film has ever won Best Picture Oscar.
