Natalie Portman had the best performance of the year. It will be a tragedy if she doesn't win, especially to Emma Stone, the worst of the five nominees.

People are literally only voting for Emma Stone because they liked La La Land. Just because it might have been the best film doesn't mean she had the best performance. I would say for me it really comes down to Meryl Streep and Natalie Portman.

Emma was brilliant on La La Land. I deeply hope she wins, she delivered the best performance out of these nominees, but in another hypothetical scenario I can see Isabelle earning the award.
