Tell us which character from a book, of any time era or genre, is your favorite! If there's not an image of the book's illustration of the character on IMDb, you can add one somewhere or use an image from a movie. And if there's no image of that, don't worry, we'll figure something out!

Here is the list (incomplete, of course): https://www.imdb.com/list/ls043820656/
Thank you for the suggestion!  :)  I LOVE Narnia, but King Arthur is my favorite book, but Alice is my favorite character, but Pooh is great, too, but Hans Christian Andersen is a great writer... lol.

Thank you. Please, NIA:
When you have a new idea, would please always post the list-link?
It's the normal procedure. I was encouraged to do that by the poll board members,
when I was about to suggest polls. So everybody can easily see the progress of
your suggestion. They can look at it anyway, when going to it by clicking
older conversations to your IMDb-Profile, but so it's less expenditure to get there. ;)

I think it has not adapted to any movie, it's from the novel The Nausea by Jean Paul Sartre, so I've read that several characters have been inspired by him, like Travis Bickle.

As it is difficult to obtain a reference to antoine roquentin, I would prefer to choose Dave Boyle, a character from Denis Lehane's novel "Mystic river", which would later be masterfully interpreted by Tim Robbins.

I narrowed my list down by choosing the two characters from my list that are in films.

It's so difficult for me to choose between the two (they're both writers and both great) but I'll go with the woman and real-life, historical character:

Anais Nin from the book Henry & June

photo: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099762/mediaviewer/rm450063360?ft0=name&fv0=nm0210218&ft1=imag...

(Just in case you add second choices:

James Lear from the book WonderBoys

photo: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185014/mediaviewer/rm3734594304?ft0=name&fv0=nm0001497&ft1=ima... )
