My favorite here is Jack  Ryan : Shadow Recruit. I think that the concept has been renewed in a good way

Ed,

Have you verified that all of the films in this poll are the fifth in a series?
For instance:

Cars 3
(2017) is the third in a series.

Follows
Cars (2006)
Cars 2 (2011)

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) is the fourth in a series.
Connections

Follows
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983)

The fifth in the series is
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

Dan,

#3 and 4 In the cars franchise are the two spin-off films Planes (2013) and Planes: Fire and Rescue (2014).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cars_(franchise)
Cars is a CGI-animated film series and Disney media franchise set in a world populated by anthropomorphic automobiles created by John Lasseter. The franchise began with the 2006 film of the same name, produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film was followed by a sequel in 2011. A third film was released in 2017. The now defunct Disneytoon Studios produced the two spin-off films Planes (2013) and Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014).

Star Wars 9 Can Finally Finish The Prequel Trilogy Story. https://screenrant.com/star-wars-9-prequel-trilogy-story-finish/
This would make Episode 4 actually Episode 5, or episode 1, #5 or ????
Guesswork at best
And when it comes to Star Wars, the numbering system can be embraced or ignored. Debate rages on both sides of the discussion.
The numbering system and renaming may go through a complete overhaul. Again!

I can make notes on each of those to clarify.
Would that work?
Or is your way the only way you want it?
Tell me which way to go.
Thanks

Ed

I saw it Peter. It was only 25 choices vs. my 35. The list is similar but not a duplicate. And the Title was unimaginative.

Okay, but another way to go would have been to suggest improvements to Paok's list.

https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/search/show#search-results Peter?????
Just how many partial and incomplete lists does P-K have?
Near as I can tell he has somewhere around 5,000 poll suggestions. What poll can anyone make that he has not got a suggestion about?

https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/search/show#search-results

13 results per page = 5759.

Mow, while my polls were not considered for a while I did suggest improvements to Paok's lists. I gave him hundreds of suggestions. But he has never once given me a suggestion. He very rarely even visits my polls for a comment. Quid pro quo is non existent. What would you have me do? Spend all my time just making his haphazardly assembled polls better? Now don't get me wrong here. I like P-K. But after all I did for him with suggestions, you would think he could support me like you do. You are generous with well thought out suggestions. A point has to come when one makes a decision to move on. I did that about 2 months ago. I have read a lot here and my polls are improving. My daily vote count speaks for itself. It is steadily increasing. 72.3 as of today. I have only been at this for 10 months. 3 of those months no polls went live. I have one H.P. Poll that was a leftover category in documentaries. I did not get the Big vote count polls. So in 7 months I have repaired my "Bad Standing" here. Been as good as possible. Been a cheerleader. Congrats to most everybody when their polls go live. But when I get no such congrats back from THE big pollmakers ......????? What would you think?
Urbanemovies, Narniaisawesome, Nikolay, along with the champions here are really the only people that have given a praise.

So, what say you?
Thanks
:):)

Ed

Usually it would be considered good form not to knowingly repeat an idea that someone else has suggested, that is all.

Commenting on other people's polls is very helpful, but on the other hand not a requirement.

As I pointed out, he has 5000 suggestions. How could you possibly not duplicate one once in a while. If it was a viable completed poll I would have not duplicated it. But his was incomplete. Remember 5000 suggestions here. I could whip up a bunch of suggestions so as to "Lock in the idea" That's not fair to those that have a complete concept with 35 choices in mind. By the way, that is precisely what he does. Has no one noticed this?

Ed,

5000 is hyperbole. It's closer to 620.

Ed, it is good to be helpful and friendly but you don't need to be a "cheerleader". If by giving praise you mean pushing the "Like" button, we all have our ideas of how to use it. I, for instance, tend to reserve the Like for special occasions, i.e. someone was being very helpful, congratulated me, made an interesting point or a funny remark in a conversation. Giving out more likes does not improve your standing. Also, many of us probably don't have the time to read everything here, congratulate every achievement and like many posts. I find it better to focus on quality (what did they write?) than on quantity (how many praises did they give?).

Meaning of Life isn't much of a Part V, I mean the characters aren't the same, it's not even a fifth installment of a series with changeable actors... I say that because that's the movie I'd vote for but I don't think it fits the purpose of the poll to include, second choice would be Dirty Harry

I have added descriptions to all titles concerned.
Thanks everyone for pointing out the missing explanations that were needed.
