These dances, routines and choreographies all have a thing in common, they were originated from movies and/or TV shows, generally the actor or actress who was asked to perform them or improvise. In some cases, the film it's most associated with isn't the original source of inspiration but nevertheless, we all owe these unforgettable steps and moves to the big and little screen.

Which of these 10 dances "from the stars" have you performed the most or (if you haven't) would you love to perform?

ElM, the last option doesn't have a description.

And you should update:

Yeah, OK Jess :)

Problem, there should be 12 options actually. I reuploaded the picture, once it's in, I fix the text.

I always liked the casual walk-dance Peter Quill was doing in the opening of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Also, there's the Chechen boy's knife dance in the film 12.
And, lastly, I reckon Joker's dance is quite popular these days...

You think they all qualify for popular dances often re-enacted by people (I'm really asking because I'm not familiar with any of them except but the Joker but it's too early for that option... I think)

Well... I myself tried to do those dances, after watching those films. And as for being popular, I entered the quarterfinals of the male pageant at my middle school prom, back in 2003. That counts as popular, right? Right?! :-I

Now, jokes aside, to be honest, I don't see anyone dancing #1, aside from maybe some people at comic-cons, and #3 is still pretty new. As for #2, it's a real-life dance, and therefore, it is probably popular in the region of the world where it originated from, but is far from being popular globally. So, yeah, truth be told, these three aren't that popular to fit the requirements of your poll.

This is such a good idea, ElM. My vote: the "twist" from Pulp Fiction. Oh, and I love the title.

May I suggest one small edit to the intro? (below in bold)
