Poll Suggestion: Best Cinematic universes?

In the last decade or so, cinema has seen diverse huge cinematic universes. Sagas are nothing new, however it is only recently that a culture for each universe has began to grow. The movies are more interconnected than ever, who do you think managed to create a universe the best?

Cinematic universes for me means at least a trilogy :)

Nice list!  :)  I don't think I've seen you on the Poll Board before, so welcome!
FYC:
Narnia
Terminator
Rambo

Also, I would capitalize the C and U in Cinematic Universe.

Back to the Future is an excellent one! How did I miss that :)

Thanks for the tip, if we reach 35 we might need to cut some out

Just a suggestion, you may want to change the title of your list.  In the description, you ask which CU was created the best; if the title is 'Best' people will just vote for their favorite movie without thinking about which one was the best crafted.  So maybe 'Best Developed Cinematic Universe' or something like that.  :)  Just an idea.

Welcome Fabio.
I think you mean franchise. I know, because I made a franchise poll before.

I don't see any advantage in calling all franchises "universe" now, but feel free to
do so.

Thank you Breumaster, I see your point,  I like your poll :) however it's not what I was looking for.

Yes there are many different franchises such as Robin Hood, Tarzan, King Kong etc... which have a long history of movies, however my idea of Cinematic Universe is more about movies interacting with each other, movies within the same timeline.

In a franchise like Batman for example, Batman can live in a believable Gotham such as in The Dark Knight, and the next reboot he is fighting Superman in another universe and the things he did in The Dark Knight are completely forgotten.

What I'm looking for here is the universes in themselves. That's why for Batman for example there are two entries: DC CU and Dark knight CU.

Also, there have been over 200 movies about Sherlock Holmes as a franchise, but I would only consider his universe the latest two movies, because they are in the same universe (as well as Sherlock Holmes movies that have been made in the past with sequels of course).

I think it's a fascinating thing and a challenging feat to build a timeline that gets people hooked to the characters without it being a series. Series have episodes that come out frequently and so feeling compelled towards a story line results easier, with movies is a completely different thing in my opinion, not that writing a series is easy hahaha.

Universe doesn't necessarily mean the same actors, but it means the movies happen inside the same timeline, so no reboots or remakes, but sequels and prequels.

You wrote future with double “u” in your list, at Back to the Future.
FYC: Eastrail 177 Universe / M. Night Shyamalan Universe.
That’s: Unbreakable-Split-Glass.
That will be my vote if you add this one.
