Intro:

I guess there is no movie dude, who never thought: "This movie should be remade". If there would be a nowerdays remake of one of these titles below, except for a new cast, a new director would have to be chosen. The director can be chosen on different matters, e.g. showing a new view on the story. Which of these fictional remakes below would you most likely want to be made? Please pick your favorite remake by also considering the mentioned titles of the filmographies and - of course - the mentioned benefit of it. Free your mind here.

Rules for Suggestions:

Only movies rated between 4.9/10 to 6.9/10

Form:

(Pick a movie)
Director:_______(Name the director of the movie which you wish to be remade)
Wish:_________(Name of the director you would suggest for the fictional remake)
Former titles: __(Examples of movies that show the abilities of your picked remake-director)
Benefit:________(Tell us why you would pick the director by explaining the benefit for the movie)

Thanks to Peter, now I read all those carefully ;)
Would be also better to use "worse" instead of "bader"

"Badder" can be used as slang for something that is actually good/cool, so I think it's okay.

May I suggest one small edit? ('below in bold)

I guess there is no movie dude or dudette who never thought: "This movie should be remade."

(Period inside of the quotation marks.)

Underlined "... fictional remakes ..." to make it as clear as possible that it's just a mind game. Guess it's ok.

Hey, I get confused and put the period outside too. It is really weird looking to me when an exclamation point or question mark is inside a quotation mark too.

Breu, the underlined parts do not work in polls.
Voters will see the text, but no underlines.

In fact, thanks to ruby. Because if not her last post notified by e-mail, I'd rather not breaking the one-week pause in visiting GS :)

I've changed the broken link. I don't know why this happened. On my computer worked all fine before. I'll ask for a repush.

I am not a fan of remakes, but I saw this poll and one movie popped into my mind:  The Amityville Horror (1979).   The original was a huge disappointment, with bad acting, lackluster production, and so much more (less?).  It is one movie that I actually said "they could have done this SO much better".  I see that there WAS a 2005 version, but the description seems to be totally different than the original film.
