If you don't stress that the poll is about English speaking titles (not even mentioned in the description) this implies that foreign language films are not "real" movies or not worthy to even be considered :(

If you combine them then you have to leave out 50% of really good choices on both polls. It's better if they are separated. The film you mentioned while familiar to you would not be familiar to the majority here. The poll would suffer in vote totals if the Euro/Asian titles were in. And I changed the Header based on your suggestion.

I absolutely understand that you want to separate the list but we're talking about a Golden Palm winner here. On a website for movie fans, we shouldn't pretend that non-US movies are obscure and irrelevant (by the way, a large share of our user base is not American). Of course you didn't mean to be patronizing or ignorant but the list came across as that. The solution you offered clears that up.
