Wow, what a great (and inspiring!) poll suggestion!
I'm really torn between three photos: Psycho one shows the importance of catering (which I think is an essential part of any production, regardless of budget), Night of the Living Dead has that terrific charm of no budget filmmaking that kept me going as filmmaker myself for 11 years and counting and then there's Nikita, which is massively underrated and under-seen modern masterpiece in my humble opinion.

You have a few typos, including:
"note" in the introduction
"how how" in the first option
"Your" in the second option (should be "You're", I think)
In the title, "The" should not be capitalized.

Hi Edward,
How about the first ever motion picture footage in the history of film making?
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0000012/mediaviewer/rm3853777408
From the film - 'L'arrivée d'un train à La Ciotat (1896)' (The Arrival of a Train)

That is a way cool shot. Ah, History!!!
But alas, it is in front of the camera, not a behind the scenes shot.
Darn.
Thanks for your looking in here. You have so many polls and your stopping by for a suggestion warms my heart.
Thanks

To be perfectly honest, I'd rather consider the first footage something by Louis Aimé Augustin Le Prince, although if we dig deeper even his movies were not the first. But they were made with essentially identical technology to that of The Lumière Brothers, he even projected his films on a piece of paper.

It's awards season. My first. They're uber busy. You and I make really weird polls that require a lot of scrutiny before they go live. So they will probably get around to having more time to look at our stuff later. So bumping is kinda a waste of time right now.

I forgot to get back to you. This poll has to cover a 100 year span. So I cant overload it with shots from the 1920's and 30's.
But the shot of the movie theater gave me another idea for a poll.
I'm trying to find shots of theaters inside and out.
That one started it.
I found a Nickelodeon too in small town America.
If you know of other shots like that post them here.
Thanks, MAthePA.

Chicago Police (1940)
Woman Passed out after seeing Hollywood Stars at a premiere.
Paul McCartney was born 5 years later!
Do you think her daughter did the same in 1965?
She kinda looks like Gillian Anderson! Gillian was born in Chicago

"I'm trying to find shots of theaters inside and out... If you know of other shots like that post them here."
Ed, I've started to form suggestions for another poll of yours "Actors and Actresses with a City or Town Name"... I open the lists of my IMDb favorites (there are about 140 females, the same for males) and copy those who I remember the same (sur-) names for existing cities and towns. I stopped after 10 names equal for cities and towns in USA, UK and Canada, because it was each 5th in the list, so finally it might be 50+ without a deep searching the Google maps... What I mean: the list criteria is too wide to process for a poll. The same is for "shots of theaters", as follows.
Cinema Treasures "is your guide to over 51,000 movie theaters from around the world". So you need to create more than 1400 polls to cover them all ))
I hope the List of movie theaters (68 pictured theaters) might help you to work out the reasonable criteria. But the list itself is far away from to be complete. E.g., actually there are 43 theaters in Salt Lake City.
Moreover, the list is very poor for theaters abroad the USA. In Kyiv, Ukraine, there were 72 movie theaters for about 100 screens before 1991. Now Kyiv has 56 movie theaters for more than 100 screens. And this is only for specialized theaters, but before 1930s, starting from 1897, a lot of traditional theaters were additionally used for movies.
Hope this helps. Cheers

That ended up being a great and inspiring poll which just makes you fascinated on how the methods of filmmaking changed, and yet remained fundamentally the same in many aspects. From catering to lighting, from main titles to pick-up shots: everything is there.
