Please stop linking me to porn whores

I have tried to submit corrections to my profile but they have been ignored. I'm a still photographer and writer, but someone has linked the porn whore Diana Price to my account. This is not me and this is obviously quite embarrassing to have porn associated with me. It's harmful to my reputation. I need to have it removed but sending in requests has gotten me no where. DO I have to sue you to get the porn off my profile?

Diana: Before I recommend how to submit the correction again, please post your last full data submission for the correction here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 140123-123456-789000.)

Most recent requests:
140515-024107-500000
140515-024020-589000

A few of the previous requests, I deleted the oldest as I had resubmitted:
140421-014308-453000
140421-013955-063000
140421-011004-840000

This is absolutely ridiculous this is being ignored, and I continue to have "Hot Nude Divorcees Gone Lesbo" on my profile. Why isn't porn in a separate database anyway? Some idiot director or crew person comes along and just links me without even paying attention to the profile they are linking

Can you, as mentioned above, also post the information in the receipt you received?  Other users might be able to see the problem and advise you (you did the "also" part with the submission ID numbers but other users who are experienced data contributors might have suggestions for you in the mean time-only staff can see the submission from the ID numbers).

That said, if you submitted to have it deleted, but it was someone by the same name, it'd probably get rejected.  Deletions are difficult to get.  You'd probably be better off either 1. Locating the person in the database the credit goes to or 2. changing it to a new person of the same name and having it go to a new page  and off your page.

Incidentally, I'd suggest you not threaten law suits as that might stop efforts to help  you.  You're better off working out the problem than making threats.

I only see one "Diana Price" and her page does not list that title (is this you? www.imdb.com/name/nm3158854/ -if not, how are you listed?).  I do see a "Diana Prince" who has all adult titles listed.  I guess it could have been misspelled when submitted. Do you have links to your page or to the title...something to go on...so it can be checked? It's helpful, with so many same/similar names to add that upfront so folks can follow along with what you're describing.

This site https://dk.timefor.tv/i/127921389668400-hot-nude-divorcees-gone-lesbo-3d has "Diana Prince" starring in that title.  So, that's who the credit would need to be shifted to...if I could only see where this is listed.

I found the movie https://pro-labs.imdb.com/title/tt2657390/ and the credit went to Diana Prince, not Price.

Can you describe in more detail what the problem is? Or, has this been fixed from one or more of your submissions?

Yes, that first one is me and it was JUST corrected apparently in the last hour, as it was wrong before. So apparently legal threats were the only way to get resolution. Porn should be a separate database to prevent this kind of thing.

I've been trying to fix this since early April and just resubmitted everything right before I posted here

It takes a day or two for pages to be rebuilt when corrected.  So, there's no way your threat caused the change as it would have needed to have been corrected a day or two ago.

Submissions for corrections take between 2 days and 2 weeks to fully process and appear.

edit to add:  Note that you pasted below,

Updates normally take around 2-14 days to appear online, but depending on the type of information submitted and various internal factors, it may take longer in some cases.

Also, the site prefers correct information.  So, threat of a lawsuit would not matter to them...it's what you want and they want...there's no need to be sitting on opposite sides of the courtroom.

For future use, keep in mind that if two weeks has passed and your submission has not been accepted and is not live on the page, you should post your submission ID number here and let staff check on status to see if it was correctly done. Or, you can ask for help from regular contributors.  Many will skip over if you've 'lawyered up.'  But, since the site's goal is to be complete and accurate, doing so is never necessary.

Also, keep in mind a correction is always better to submit than a deletion.  The site does not like to delete data if it's just in the wrong place. As in this case, it was just on the wrong page and got moved to the correct page...probably causing the delay in getting it accepted. Someone probably googled around as I did and figured out where to move it (or maybe she wanted it on her page and also submitted a request to correct it).
