As of now I don't rate individual TV episodes because I use IMDB to keep track of my movies, and when you rate an episode, it counts it as a full rating on your profile. I just think its a little silly because lots of people don't rate individual episodes, so the amount of ratings is a really good indicator as to how many movies they've seen, where as someone who rates individual episodes usually has a ratings count in the very high thousands and it isn't a good indicator of anything really. It would be perfect if there were a number, separate from movie ratings accounting for TV episodes rated.

I very much doubt that IMDb will do this. It adds serious complexity with little advantage.

If you do rate both Films and TV Episodes you can separate them by using the Advanced Search or just by using the TV or Movies section of the RefineĀ  Ratings section at the right side of the page.
