You're somewhat confused, my friend. It doesn't say "creator". It says "James Cameron's science-fiction epic Aliens (1986)" which is correct as Cameron directed the film. In fact the first film is Ridley Scott's 'Alien' but he wasn't the "creator" either. He directed the film. The "Creators" would be Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett as they came up with the concept (although it was also based on numerous other sci-fi stories from the past. Primarily  It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1958) In fact, the producers of that film considered suing for plagiarism but ended up not doing so

Looking through Paul Reiser's Biography page, one item indicates the following statement:

Best-known by the public for his role as Carter Burke in James Cameron's science-fiction epic Aliens (1986), as well as his starring roles as Michael Taylor in My Two Dads (1987) and as Paul Buchman in Mad About You (1992).

As far as I'm concerned, the statement is accurate since Cameron directed the movie. If the contributor replaced Cameron's name with Ridley Scott's name, that would be an inaccurate statement since Scott directed Alien (1979).

If this is not the statement you're inquiring about, please provide the URL of the page so an IMDb representative or a contributor can review the information.
