The list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls097622740/On Halloween night, I was watching a movie that had allot of death, murder, larceny, forgery and stealing mentioned through out it, BUT IT WAS A CHRISTMAS MOVIE! (FYI: We're No Angels (1955) (for this page only: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048801/, and yes, that movie, with it’s dark comedy, was suited more towards Halloween than Christmas)) Which one of these films that Christmas films or films set at Christmas and contains material that is generally considered the 180 of Christmas, is your favorite? In you want to ‘convict’ these films to Devil’s Island, or add one to this list, report it here.

Poll: https://www.imdb.com/poll/Vstsfymy8t8/

Yes, “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. It involves a kidnapping, stealing someone else’s holiday, and attempted murder in the film. And that doesn’t all the Halloween stuff that is in the film!

Please use lowercase "a" in your list title:

This Is a Christmas Movie?

I see you also changed "Is" to "is", but this is not right. Please use the version I typed above.

What Peter meant is that now the "I" in "is" in the title is lower case but it should be capitalized. If that one change is made, the poll could be considered for the home page.

Just to be clear, IMDb prefers titles to follow the rules from the AP Style Manual, which means the title would be exactly as follows:

This Is a Christmas Movie?

(Thanks :-) )

'Good idea. Hmm, probably 'The Lion in Winter,' but I also liked 'The Nice Guys,' and I haven't seen some.

Besides Peter's note about the title, may I suggest one other small edit? Either delete the comma between "Christmas" and "is your favorite" or, my personal preference, keep that comma but add another comma between "films set at Christmas" and "and contains." (The addition is below in bold.)

Which one of these Christmas films or films set at Christmas, and contains material that is generally considered the 180 of Christmas, is your favorite?

Ruby, can you check the intro again because I had added an observation about year’s month of December. The “So. ...” was added for comedic effect.

I like it! : )

And yes, it all looks good. "Worst" should technically be "worse" but I don't think it's a big deal. Also, as always, I love your discussion-link-text (If you want to ‘sentence’ these films to Devil’s Island, or add one to this list, report it here) - Lol. You are so good at coming up with really witty ones. : )

Oh, it is worst than that. Guess which month has Friday the 13th this year ... just in time for Christmas. Has anyone did a poll about that?
