No, Eastwood is not dead. He is alive and well and may he direct many more films. This list talks about him as an actor.
This is what on the list page at https://www.imdb.com/list/ls023648128/

Poll: https://www.imdb.com/poll/PaKdUb-P3_U/

The roles of Clint Eastwood seems to be grouped into cowboy, criminal, military (soldier), policeman, and other. Sometimes the roles combined two of them like a Marshall in a western (‘Hang Em High’). Plus Eastwood did create a few iconic roles while playing these different types. As an actor, what did you enjoy Clint Eastwood the most as? A Cowboy? A Criminal? A Soldier (I.E. Military Serviceman)? A Policeman? Or Other?

Discuss the topic here and do like Eastwood said in ‘The Gauntlet’, “Nag! Nag! Nag!”

Note: upon doing a tiny bit of research, the Secret Service guarding the U. S. President is considered a branch of Law enforcement (‘In The Line Of Fire’) and under The National Security Act Of 1947, covert C.I.A. action is concidered a military operation (‘The Eiger Sanction’).
As you can see, I have quite a bit more work to do on it in listing his westerns and his other work. Some of his westerns cross genres like criminal. He wasn’t exactly on the side of law and order in ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly’. 6 Replies History

‘Other mentor or father figure’ wouldn’t work because too many of his ‘Other’ roles were neither of the two. AKA: director/hunter in ‘White Hunter, Black Heart’, crime reporter in ‘True Crime’, photographer in ‘The Bridges Of Madison County’, a trucker turned bare knunckle prize fighter in ‘Any Which Way But Loose’ and ‘Any which Way You Can’, and so on. No Other Mentor and Father Figure won’t work.

Hi granger,

May I suggest two small edits? ('below in bold: 'no "s" on "seem" and capped the "W" in "Western")

Sadly, false reports of celebrity deaths is common. This was actively discussed in this forum:

By the way, this would be a good place to publicize your poll.
