For this title http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4057916/   The original name of the movie is "Top Cat Begins", the movie was indeed animated first in english language, then dubbed to spanish, but it's showing as Don Gato el inicio de la pandilla, we had already asked for this change but it's still showing in spanish, could you please keep the original title in English?

Thank you very much, have a nice day.

This is correct as-is, thanks.  Since this is a Mexican production, we list the Spanish title as the original title.  The English title shows as the main title for anyone in an English speaking country or with preferences set to English.

Can we change the default for everybody to be in english? The original language of the film is English, then we made the dubbing to Spanish, that's why we'd like Top Cat Begins as the displaying title.

Thanks.

IMDb states in the Submission Guide: Title Formats that:
  • We use the original title of a movie/show in its original language as it appears on screen (on the title card) in the opening credits. So all alternative titles found on posters, DVD boxes, reference books, trailers, websites, re-releases, etc. are irrelevant. They do NOT define what the primary title should look like. All titles must include the year of first public screening enclosed in ()'s as explained further below.
Since the earliest Release Date on the Don Gato, el inicio de la pandilla (2015) page is listed as Mexico - 30 October 2015, the assumption is that it was the Spanish-language version and the current title is the one shown on screen.

The production sequence is immaterial to IMDb's regulations; only what was shown on-screen is considered. If your movie was shown in that premiere with the English language title or if it had an earlier English version showing, then - and only then - will IMDb accept the English title.
