Good evening!! hoping you all are enjoying a happy new year.

For the record, I attempted to solve on my own before asking, but will someone please advise how to order the genres on this title as the following:
1. Thriller
2. Mystery
3. Crime
4. News
for title https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2606314/

My latest effort to improve this is Contribution #190123-183012-982000. I appreciate any assistance. These are the film's genres in the most accurate order possible.

Thanks very much.

George,

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe Genre terms can only be displayed in alphabetical order. Please wait for an official answer from an IMDb representative.

Hi George -

As others have mentioned above, Genre display is automatic based on alphabetical order.  However, titles with the Genre's 'Documentary', 'Animation', and 'Short', will take precedent order, for example:

Moana
Man On Wire

Thank you, all. In that case, to most accurately represent the film, I have deleted "Crime" from genres because there is no crime being investigated in the feature. I do not want to mislead anyone that this film is primarily a Crime feature, or any kind of procedural.

The submission to delete "Crime" is: Contribution #190127-080951-561000.

Thank you all very much.

You just demonstrate (again) how punctuation is important, something which seems to be forgotten so often by contributors here :)

That is how I construct comedy routines.
Simple word play on common phrases.
Like this.
Why don't they call a Hysterectomy a Hyrterectomy?
Why is it History and not Herstory?
It's always Men Men Men!

George Loomis, for your information, the genre "Crime" is not only for depictions of investigations of crime, but also (and possibly mainly) for depictions of protagonists who live a life of crime.

I posted an Idea to resolve this issue.  It will need votes in order to be implemented:

Genres for titles should be manually sortable
