Hi Kirandeep,

Can you please confirm the IMDb app version currently installed on your device?

Also, have you confirmed that notifications are allowed in your BlackBerry's device settings for the IMDb app?

The version of the app is 7.5.4.107540100, I checked that notifications are on

  1. Can you confirm if you have ever received notifications from IMDb (e.g. on a previous app version) on this device?
  2. Are you generally receiving the notifications you'd expect from other apps on your device?
  3. Have you confirmed if the IMDb app's notifications are allowed via your device's notification settings?

I have provided the answers below;
1. Since installing the IMDb app on this device I am yet to receive any notifications
2. This is currently the only app on my device for which I am not receiving notifications for.
3. i have confirmed that IMDb's app notifications are allowed via the devices notifications settings

Hi Kirandeep,

Thanks so much for your continued patience. We think we've found the issue. Can you please turn all notifications off for all topics via the Notifications Settings page, then turn them back on?

Hello Claire, I gave it a try and there is still no change, I have not recieved any notifications! Please let me know if there is anything further that can be done.

Hi Kirandeep - 

We've been working with the team that powers our push notifications and, despite exploring many solutions, we can't figure out what's going on with your device. It's telling us that your token "expired" and we can't determine a way to reset it. 

I apologize we haven't been able to solve this issue for you. One last thing to try, if you haven't already - log out of the app, fully uninstall, and then reinstall the app.
