For the last few days, I haven't been receiving any notifications from IMDb on my iPad. However, I am receiving them on my phone. Both iOS devices are up to date as are the apps and notifications are enabled on both devices so I don't understand why one is working and the other isn't.

Didn’t see the message until tonight. Will gladly do it whenever you send them. How are you sending them to my app?

Not sure what you mean by message, do you mean a notification? Never received anything and nothing popped up when I opened the app

Thanks for staying with me / my issue this whole time (going on 2 months). I appreciate it :)

Just a reminder, it’s the IMDb app on both my iPad and iPhone (the iPhone was a Christmas gift this past year). Never received notifications at all. Whereas the iPad had them and then just stopped.

We are working with technical folks who support our Notifications backend service - they're now actively engaged. I'll keep you posted as I have details. Sorry this isn't moving faster - we're trying to get to the bottom of it!

Hi Kristen,
We're finally getting somewhere :)
Our logs show that your iPad has been targeted as part of 55 campaigns in January. We're investigating if there's a break between our system and Apple's push notification service.
It also shows that the last "update" to your topic subscriptions was on 11/14/2018. To try and force a refresh, can you unsubscribe from topics, wait a little bit (30 mins or more), and resubscribe?

Just unsubscribed on my phone. I'll see if that works and then try it on my iPad.

I don't understand how I was targeted in January when this has been going on for 2+ months?

Right - that's what we're trying to understand. Definitely not a virus! It's likely a broken linkage somewhere in the chain; our systems think your devices are target-able, but something is still stopping the message from getting through.
Ok - thanks for turning on/off. We'll report back tomorrow whether we saw an update event.

Just went in and unsubscribe / subscribed to each of the 5 notification options. How long should it take before I see any change (start getting IMDb notifications)?

Hi Kristen,
You will likely start receiving notifications over the next 24-48 hours. Please let us know if haven't seen any in the next few days.

As of 6:45 Saturday evening I still haven’t seen any IMDb notifications on either my iPhone or iPad.
