No visual cue when there are no user reviews, only ratings

It would be helpful if there was an indicator showing whether any written user reviews are available. Right now in the app, flipping through series episode reviews I see a rating of 8.7 based on 270 ratings. I tap the number to see the reviews. The app does nothing. New users will think that the link/app is broken. At the very least show a popover or so that states “no user reviews available - add yours” or something similar.

The circled area only works as a link when there are written reviews, but I don't see a way to tell in advance whether it will work.

No Link = No Reviews ? ?

Does "Critic Reviews" have a link ? ?  - Message needed: "0 Reviews | 99 Reviews"

Is there a Ratings link like...
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5812538/ratings . . .
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5812538/ratings?demo=imdb_users
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5812538/ratings?demo=aged_under_18
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5812538/ratings?demo=males

You could change to
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5812538/reviews ? ?
.

Thank you for your feedback, Joe.

I've changed this post to an "Idea" thread where it can be reviewed by other IMDb staff and users for consideration for future updates.

Thanks Claire. A simple solution is to write something like 510/3 with an underline (indicating "hyperlink") for a show that has 510 votes and 3 written reviews, and 434/0 without underline (indicating "not a hyperlink") for a show that has 434 ratings and zero reviews. Easy to code, and complies with standard web formatting.

As I responded to Claire, a simple solution is to include the number of written reviews in the ratings info. If there are 698 ratings and zero reviews, show it as 698 (0) without underline (does not work as a link). If there are 698 ratings and five reviews, show it as 698 (5) where the entire rating would act as a link target for the five reviews. This would be a nice clear indication that more info is available when tapping near the '5'.
