New titles credits order?

Hi, I’ve just noted that suddenly IMDb shows the full cast and crew page of a title with a different categories order: for example the “Animation Department” is listed before the “Music by” credits and so on. Even the “Special thanks” are listed before the VFX category. Is that a new policy or just a momentary problem? Tried with 3 different browsers and it’s always the same. I’m quite sure a couple of days ago it wasn’t this way but in the regular one...

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Alphabetical order in Full Cast and Crew pages.

I have two questions which are concerning me a bit on Full Cast & Crew pages recently.

Firstly it switched to a completely alphabetical order (previously some of the department such as "Producers" were always at the start of the page, while "Other Crew" and "Thanks" were always in the end). Now the order changed to completely alphabetical and I don't know whether it is a glitch in my site preferences or a planned change on the website.

Secondly, if the latter is in place it should be noted that since system and display names for departments are sometimes different we have "Second Unit Directors" (and Assistant Directors which are first in the department title in the system) in the middle of A and "Music by" in the middle of C (because it is known as "Composers" in the system). While I am well aware why is that so, many users might get confused.
