http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2592910 - should be genre just "Comedy" so CM101MMXI Fundamentals (2013) is not a documentary. This stand-up show was cinema released in Turkey. The movie attracted theater an audience of more than 600.000 people. Should be correct the genre. Evidence:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CM101MMXI_Fundamentals

I am noticing that many (most?) stand-up comedy titles are also carrying the "documentary" genre.

I am not sure why this is. Perhaps we should wait for staff clarification. By definition, it doesn't seem that any stand-up comedy performance would be considered a documentary but perhaps there is some valid reason for this.

The genre is correct as-is, please see http://www.imdb.com/updates/guide/genres#documentary

Documentary
Should contain numerous consecutive scenes of real personages and not characters portrayed by actors. This does not include fake or spoof documentaries, which should instead have the fake-documentary keyword. A documentary that includes actors re-creating events should include the keyword "reenactment" so that those actors are not treated as "Himself." This genre should also be applied to all instances of stand-up comedy and concert performances. Objective.

Ah, perfect! Thanks Col...I had a feeling that was coming. I saw a couple stand-ups that were missing the genre...now trying to remember which to correct them (thank goodness for 'recently viewed')!

Thanks!
