I was the stunt coordinator on Love, Work, & Other Demons.

Whoever entered the data and submitted it to the database spelled my name wrong and thus, it created a new page as seen here:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7089038/?ref_=rvi_nm

This credit really belongs here:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2179873/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

How can I get this credit moved to the right page?
Also, how can we get that newly formed page for Steve Braiver -- no such person, to be deleted?

Thank you.

Steve: It is possible to get the credit moved to your correct page and have the incorrect page deleted through the same process.

However, in order to make it easier to give you step-by-step instructions, can you let me know: On the actual series "Love, Work & Other Demons", does or will your name appear in the on-screen credits under your correct name of Stephen Bralver, or does or will it appear in the misspelled version of Steve Braiver?

I can't say for certain because it's still in post production -- I would assume that it will be spelled correctly and this was just an error when inputting into IMDb.

I know that it definitely won't be spelled the way they did it, since they weren't even close to getting it right. I'll talk to the producer and director and make sure they get it right before they release it.

Does that help?

Steve: Here is how I recommend doing the correction.

Go to the "Steve Braiver" page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7089038/. Click "Edit page".

On the next screen, on the Name Correction or Merge line, select "Add correction". Scroll down and click "Continue".

On the next screen, there will be a blank space in which to enter the corrected name. Enter it as:
Bralver, Stephen

Un-check the box marked "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Steve Braiver)'".

In the Explanation box, enter something like this: "I am Stephen Bralver, and my credit for "Love, Work & Other Demons" was mistakenly submitted to IMDb under the misspelled name "Steve Braiver". The only credit under the name "Steve Braiver" belongs to me, and so the two pages should be merged under my correct name, Stephen Bralver. The credits of the television series have not yet been prepared, but they are expected to list me under my correct name, not the misspelled version." Click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, you will get two warnings. One will say, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you want to merge this person with Bralver, Stephen? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." The other warning will say, "By unticking the box to preserve existing credits, you are implying they are incorrect. ..." Since "Steve Braiver" does not reflect how your name will be listed in the actual credits of the show, check the box for this marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates".

On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Good luck!
