I'm not sure if this is the place where you would get a definitive answer to your questions.

"I've Got a Secret" is owned by FremantleMedia, which owns the Goodson/Todman show library. The company also owns Buzzr, a digital broadcast network which airs many Goodson/Todman shows, including "I've Got a Secret." You could contact Buzzr to see if that specific episode is even available for purchase or even release programs to the public on DVD.

In my opinion, I would check to see if Buzzr is available in your area and, if available, set up a time on your DVR to record "I've Got a Secret". Considering there were many episodes produced, you may need to record numerous episodes before you find the one you are looking for. At the same time, you won't have to spend an huge amount of money purchasing a DVD copy.

I hope this helps. Good luck on your search.

Thank you so much! I have been looking at all the links, youtube video and emailed Buzzr in hopes they can help. I did find it is episode 511 on 3/26/62 with confirmation of my mothers name on the show. Unfortunately, other portions of that show had video but not of my mothers Secret. Apparently, they have several Secrets per show?

Cindy: Yes, while the format varied, in that era typically there would be about three segments in each show, all with different guests who had different secrets. See http://ivegotasecretonline.com/about/episode-guide/year-1962/#3-26 for the description of that episode.

Cindy: In addition to what GMJ wrote, I have a few additional comments.

You may be able to find some relevant information on a fan site for "I've Got a Secret" at http://ivegotasecretonline.com/.

Looking at their episode guide, I assume that your mom's secret was that she was injured dancing the twist. If so, I think I might actually have seen that episode on Buzzr within the last couple of years, which would be a good sign since it would mean the episode is still in existence and has been preserved, and Buzzr tends to air a lot of the episodes they show over and over.

Unfortunately, Buzzr has cut back on their broadcasts of "IGaS" and now shows only a few episodes a week. Fortunately, though, the Buzzr web site (http://buzzrplay.com/schedule) does identify the specific episodes of "IGaS" that they are going to broadcast, so if your mom's episode does appear on the schedule, you should be able to find out about it in advance.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
