just like the title says, the movie plays just fine ..any time an AD is displayed, it buffers

I suspect they are playing at a higher bit-rate than the movie servers are streaming

please put in checks to match the bit rate of the streams

I believe that advertisers do this on purpose. (High-Def) That way you stare at the paused image for maximum effect. Hey advertisers!!! I will not ever but a product from any advertiser that uses this trick. EVER!
You paying attention. We are not stupid!

Hi Michael,

Apologies for the trouble! I was not able to reproduce this issue, but we may have different download speeds. Are you noticing this issue for all ads or is it a specific set?

You have the absolute best equipment money can buy. The majority of this world does not. This is a common problem. You cannot chose 480p 720p or 1080p like you can on the video being watched. Advertisements are 1080p whether your system can handle it or not. Plus it is rude to be forced to use excessive the data bits on 1080p setting of a commercial. Your reproducing it is irrelevant. We experience it.

Advertisements should be at 480p and not 1080p. Providers regularly throttle back content that use the 1080p during peak hours. You are most likely on a T-3 or better speed. Most likely your on OC-3.
So please do not compare apples to oranges.

We here live with what we can afford. If an advertiser wants to have their ads seen then they should reduce the data transmitted to a real world 480p.

Apologies for my butchering of the technobabble!!
But I believe you get my drift.
