My submission to list Hoodlum as a thriller was denied. The way I see it, if the DVD cover calls it a "riveting crime thriller" then it would make sense to call it one here.

Hi Max, thanks for this, however how a film chooses to market itself on a DVD can be a bit different from the genre of the film itself. You can review our genre definitions on our help site.

Fair enough, but I feel this movie fits that criteria. The trailer at least promises such a film.

What the trailer looks like is of no importance in deciding whether or not a title should get a certain genre attached to it. The only question is: Is the definition IMDb uses for a certain genre applicable to a certain title?
