Marking a title as "released" so I can submit "credited as"

What criteria have to be met for the restriction on submitted "credited as" attributes to be lifted? Is is that today's date is later than the release date, or is it that the production status (assuming it's not blank) is set to "released".

It's a real pain to have to remember to keep re-visting a TV episode's page, several days after the episode was shown and I've entered the cast and crew, to add any "credited as" attributes that as still blocked because someone has previously submitted an earlier status like "filming" or "post-production".

Should it be possible to submit "released" in advance of the actual airing date "released or a firm date set in the near future" for all the episodes of a series, to circumvent this situation? I tried it a wekk ago for episodes 1, 2 and 3 of Ordeal by Innocence (2018) but only 1.1 is marked as released and therefore able to accept "credited as", even though 1.2 was shown yesterday (and has this as the release date).

We are told that the release status is derived from the release date, however there seems to be a delay in the system.

The problem is not uncommon; Adrian posted about it at least twice:

Sorry about the inconvenience.  We have a ticket open to reduce the time in which titles are in this state.

In the meantime, you can always submit a production status update on the day of release for any affected titles and it should be processed quickly.

I have done. It hasn't been. :-(

I submitted 180409-193835-585000 to do just episode 1.2, after previously submitting 180402-090111-63600 to do 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. Only 1.1 is currently in a state where it can accept "credited as" attributes to cast and crew.

Not to worry. I'll keep checking back each day and see if I can set the "as" attribute (in case you can short-circuit to process, it's adding "as David Bowtle-McMillan" for production sound mixer David McMillan (III))
