I'm trying to figure out the name of a movie that I can't remember most of the details, I know that it was an independent movie released between 2005 and 2015 aproximately and it had a visual aesthethic (not story or plot, only visual) somewhat similar to the original underworld film, the movie was a fantasy movie with a more plot and it was very visually dark, I know the first scenes began within a house and there was some scenes where I believe had some ravens and also it was somethat grounded in reality as if sorcery and magic were a real thing, other than that I can't remember anymore details, would really like to rewatch this movie to refresh my mind simply because the aesthethics of it stayed printed in my mind, but can't remember anything about plot more detailed than this.

Thanks in advance

Would you be thinking of the Nicolas Cage movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963966/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_46. Only one I can think of from that time.

No nothing to do with that, not in terms of ambience or plot, in fact I don't think it had any known actors, it would be an indie film, with perhaps very few IMDB votes, and perhaps it was a little after that film, so perhaps more like 2012-2014, I know the film was known for attempting to revive the fantasy format in a more serious and grounded way and it had an art direction akin to Underworld or Brandon Lee's crow.

I don't want to give false information but if my memory serves me right I believe some characters in the movie sort of teleported and left a cloud of black smoke behind. I only have a visual memory of the film, don't remember almost anything about the overall plot, but it was very dark, there were a few scenes with ravens (perhaps irrelevant to the plot) right in the beginning of the movie, and the movie was set in the modern era, other than that and that the movie would not be very widely known I don't remember anything more particular about it.

It was actually the movie Ink from 2009, after an extensive imdb search through all fantasy movies I finally found it.
