Linking to IMDB's user ratings page & external sites page, doesn't work. I've tried several variations, & every time, you get this: .

Is IMDB so afraid of people clicking off their site for a minute, that they won't let people share their 'external sites' page? And why can't you send a link to the 'user ratings' page? Maybe I'm missing something, maybe it's me, but I tried several variations, and couldn't get either to work. It seems like a fear based decision, NOT what a company that wants its users to share and contribute, would do. If anyone has a work around, or can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd be very grateful. If it is IMDB's decision to limit sharing those pages, it would be better to just let Fandom have them. They are much more open to the actual sharing of pertinent information.

Indeed, it is only the mobile version of these links that fail.
The ratings version doesn't go to the ratings page,
and the externalsites version gets error 404.
But the www versions work fine.

Isn't it just because there are no ratings and external sites pages in the mobile site?

Peter, if those pages exist on the desktop site, why wouldn't they exist on the mobile site? If they don't exist on the mobile site, why are links provided?

Where are the links provided?

IMDb doesn't promise that the full website is available on the mobile site:

"We offer our most popular data including: quotes, trivia, plot summaries, synopsis, birth dates and celebrity mini-bios. You also have quick access to showtimes, trailers, photos, TV network schedules, TV show recaps, box office results, IMDb Top rated movies of all time, IMDb Top rated TV shows of all time, MOVIEmeter (most searched titles on IMDb) and STARmeter (most searched celebrities on IMDb)."

Hi Vanessa,

I can confirm that the two pages you've referenced, "User Ratings" and "External Sites" are not available on mobile. If you would like to view these pages, I recommend to use the desktop variant.
