Hi Danita A,

I'm not certain what you mean by your movie list. Regardless, you can export all user created lists from IMDb. At the bottom of each list there is this link:
Export this list

When you click this link IMDb creates a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) file that you can import into Notepad, Excel, Open Office, or Google Docs.

The CSV file will contain this information for title-based lists, such as Ratings and Watchlist:
  • position
  • const
  • created
  • modified
  • description
  • Title
  • Title type
  • Directors
  • You rated
  • IMDb Rating
  • Runtime (mins)
  • Year
  • Genres
  • Num. Votes
  • Release Date (month/day/year)
  • URL
Exported People, Character and Image lists contain different information.

I don’t have that export link at the bottom of any of my lists - just an advert!

Hi Andrew Jolly,

You can export a list only with the web-based version of IMDb. You must also be logged in.

If you are not logged in you will see this message:
Log in to copy items to your own lists.

If you are logged in to the web-based version of IMDb and do not see Export this list near the bottom of the page, please provide a link to the page and a screen capture of the page. It's possible that the ad may be interfering with the functionality of the list page. You can post the screen capture in this thread using the camera icon.
