Is IMDB incorrectly listing the # of academy awards won by Bong Joon Ho and Alfonso Cuarón?

IMDB lists Bong Joon Ho as having won 3 oscars for best picture, director, and screenplay. However it does not include what I thought would be his 4th for best international feature.

I saw him accept 4 oscars and there's pictures online of him holding 4, but does the award not officially go under his name? Same with Alfonso Cuaron, who IMDB credits as having won a academy award for both the directing and cinematography of Roma, but NOT the foreign language film category.

Can anyone clarify please?

Except for one ceremony (1957) where the producers were listed as the recipients, from the Oscars' official website, the recipient of the Best International Feature, formerly Best Foreign Language Film, is the country that submitted the film.

The filmmaker accepts the Oscar of the Foreign Language Film/International Feature award on behalf of the country which submitted the award. So, technically, the information of Bong Joon Ho winning 3 Oscars is correct.

Not a fan of this long-time Oscar rule, but it is what it is.
