Ineligible Movie Listing

A short movie I wrote was listed by the producer, but never released anywhere. Doesn't that make it ineligible? None of the cast/crew ever got to watch it (I've emailed them), and the producer promised to send us copies, and then "deleted" us from social media. As he did not meet the criteria for eligible listing on IMDB, I'm hoping I can have the title yanked, and perhaps have the script produced by someone else. Thoughts?

There's a release date attached to the film which implies that the film has been shown. If the film has been made, the listing would be eligible to stay.
