Incorrect celebrity height listings

Hi, I tried to update heights for Idris Elba, Brendan Fraser, Jim Carrey, Gustaf Skarsgard, Bill Nighy, John Travolta and Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have plenty of evidence to prove the current listings for these celebrities are wrong and submitted the updates but still, they have not been changed. I simply don’t understand why they would believe the current listings are factual but when you look at photos at them with other celebrities and see their own claims, they obviously are not factual.

Thanks for your help Will and Ed. I’ll let you know again if there are any more problems on IMDB that need correcting.

I have two more celebrities: Ben Affleck and Luke Hemmings. I got info from celebheights.com that Affleck says he's 6' 3" but is listed on IMDB as 6' 3.5" and Hemmings claims 6 foot and said 6' 2" at best but it could be interpreted that it was a joke but is listed on IMDB as a mind bogglingly optimistic 6' 4". Here are the links Ed https://www.celebheights.com/s/Ben-Affleck-454.htmlhttps://www.celebheights.com/s/Luke-Hemmings-48231.html

No opinion. Don't really care.
Nothing personal.
Stats like that are just not that important to me.
They may be to you and others.
Cheers

It seems like 6’ 4” is his “official” height based on the listing on Google and other sites. I’ll just do that one since I can’t find the Newspaper where he said he was 6’ 3”.

In fact, I found an article from the Daily Mail that says he was 5 ft 4 as a teenager and then grew about a foot. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/mosl.... You’ll have to keep scrolling until you find the exact quote. Is there a way I can highlight it so they can easily find it?

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your responses and images.

Please remember that we require documented evidence from respectable sources to verify corrections to the height of these high ranking names, images can be modified or include a shifted perspective.

Make sure to include any URL's in your height correction submissions and our editors can review these for you.

I might just leave IMDB. This is absolutely ridiculous. No matter how much evidence I provide to them, they are consistently rejecting what I have to show. And the editors don’t even seem like they’re looking my stuff over and actually thinking to themselves “huh what we have listed here incorrect, we should actually change this to give people more valid information”. It actually seems like they don’t even bother to look it over and just decline because they’re so overwhelmed by work. If you’re so overwhelmed and you don’t have time to look it over, why can’t you just accept it? Why do you think I want to change current information on IMDB, is it cause you think I’m a vandalist? Even if you do have time to look it over, just listen to what I have to say and actually understand why I’m changing this. Like I’ve said before, it’s insulting to me because I’m trying to help IMDb provide more realistic information out to the public.

The only thing that would be reliable is information gathered and documented in a complete physical examination. Even the information that appears on a driver's license is not really guaranteed to be exact.

I agree with you on the Driver’s License Jeorj. Someone I know claims to be 5’ 6” but I know is really like 5’ 2” or 5’ 3”. It’s not guaranteed accurate. However, I’m giving IMDB articles from The Daily Mail where Ben Affleck is quoted in saying he was 5 ft 4 as a teenager but then grew a foot which is about 6 ft 4. I’m doing my best to give them verifiable sources and I’m just absolutely sick of them rejecting it. Just think, if they were really looking at it wouldn’t they be able to understand that this person has spent a lot of time trying to find verifiable sources and seen these sources are more than adequate and actually accepted it? It just doesn’t seem like they’re actually looking at this.
