I have seen several other users request to be able to remove trailers from their pages. I understand they are linked by association however, in many cases what is posted is not representative of the person who's page it appears on.
In my case, I shot one interview for a feature length doc but none of my footage is in the 4 minute trailer that is linked to my IMDB page. ALL of that footage was shot by another cinematographer and is not representative of my work. If someone goes to my IMDB page looking for examples of my work they will end up watching 4 minutes of another Cinematographer's footage and not even know it. I'd say that makes it fraudulent.
There should be a way to user-edit stuff like that. Even better..when someone posts a video, an invite should go out to all the users IMDB associates with the project, INVITING them to add the video to their page, rather than automatically doing it.Ideally, I would like the option to unlink it from my page. At the very least, there should be a way for me to add a disclaimer when the link shows up on my page so I can point out that none of the footage in the trailer is mine.
