I'm trying to take my name off a project. I have screen grabs of the credits showing my name has been removed, they are below. How do I get this in front of the right people to solve this problem? I have an 18-digit reference number (which is 191123-140124-200200). Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Neil, thanks for reaching out! To clarify, is this an updated credit listing for the title? Thank you!

Hi, Elizabeth! Thanks for responding. Yes, it's an updated credit listing for the title. My name should be completely removed from it, replaced as writer/director by the above noted Dante Pizzinnini, and taken off the list of producers, as also shown above.
Thank you! Is there anything else you need to know?

Hi Neil, thank you for clarifying; please know that we list credits based on the official, original, airing of the end credits. As such, we won't be able to assist with this request, thank you for your understanding.

But, Elizabeth, I don't understand, as this is different. This is a re-listing of the original movie, with major changes that I had nothing to do with. As I showed you with the pictures, my name is no longer on it, so the fact that it appears on my IMDB page is misleading. I had nothing to do with this version, and so do not feel that my name should be associated with it. Why can't I have it taken off my credits, if my name does not, in fact, appear in this version of the film's credits?

The original version of the film was listed in 2014. I am a part of that. The producers then made changes without my consent, and re-listed the movie with an exclamation point at the end of the title in 2017. I did not learn about this until well after the film was listed again, and when I found out, I directed them to remove my name from the credits. They did. Now, I would like for my own IMDB page to reflect that. Why can't this happen? Especially since the addition of the other director's name was allowed? If you go to the film's IMDB page, you'll see his name beside mine as writer-director. All I want is for my name to be removed. You can add, but can't subtract?

Neil, the employees see this request a lot. They are bound by policy, and as such cannot deviate from it. You can add names to the "Original" crew names on the "Original" Cast and Crew credits. But NO names ever are removed. This would make the "Facts" untrue. Truth matters. Truth is that you were once attached. Truth is you are not now attached. One truth does not cancel out another truth. Life does not work that way. Both truth in fact shall be listed. You can submit a correction (Short description) to your credit in the attribute section of your credit that explains your reason for non completion in the project.

Thanks for the further clarification on this Neil, can you provide me with the two IMDb.com URLs of these titles?

Elizabeth, thank you for your help. Apparently, in the week since I began this odyssey, the producers either took down the 2017 version, or the two titles were combined, as they should have been all along. My problem is now solved. I understand your constraints and appreciate you hearing me out on this. Happy Thanksgiving!
