Identifying Publicity photos when uploading contributions

I am uploading  title photos for films from the 20s and 30s. They are posed photos released by the studios for publicity purposes for that title -- not stills -- but I do not see "publicity" listed as an option for me to choose in describing the photo, although I see it being used in other accepted title photo postings. Do I rely on others to correct my submissions, or is there a way I can identify these photos correctly when I upload them?   Thanks!

Hi Jan,

If you upload the photos under behind the scenes, then once live please Contact us selecting IMDb Fan/Contributor questions > Images & video > Title page images > Image deletions / tag updates including a link to this thread and the associated images.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Will

Very helpful information, Will.  Thank you.  Is this process limited to my uploads,or can I also correct other mis-designated photos in this manner?

Hi Jan,

Please only use it for your uploads if possible due to scaling issues.
