I posted a celebrity's birth date on an external wiki. Can it be removed?

A few years ago, I posted a certain celebrity's birth date on a wiki outside of here, and I'm pretty sure someone looked on the wiki and transferred the birth date to IMDB (i.e., it would have been unreleased had it not been for my post). have heard that posting a birth date can result in identity theft, and since I was the one who posted it, I'm afraid that if the celebrity's identity gets stolen, I'll be liable for the harm. Would there be a way to get it removed?

I know removing birth dates is against IMDB's general policy, but they can easily (or at least this is my impression) be used to steal money, medical services, etc., from the people, and in this case, it would be my fault since I think I was the originator of the information. I don't think the person knows I have posted the information.

IMDb now requires authoritative sources for Birth Dates. If it was added to IMDb in the past couple of years you can be virtually certain that the source was not the wiki.

Even before that IMDb was very careful about adding Birth Dates, and is unlikely that they would accept one even then without better sourcing than a wiki.

Birth dates are available in a lot of public records, and some people search these religiously for celebrity information.

Thanks for the reassurance. I believe my original posting to the wiki was on August 30, 2010; do you know if the "authoritative sources" policy was added before or after that?
