I picked "THE KID (2015)" because "THE KID (2014)" was taken. Now the other film by Dimitar Gotchev is gone. Since my production wraps next week, in 2014, I need to change the "date" associated with the film. Here is our web site to back up the name change importance: www.thekid2014.com. I cannot buy thekid2015 online because it is owned. Please help me change the year displayed. THANKS :)

The year in the title is taken from the Release Date. Your current Release Date shows 1 January 2015. You should submit a correction to change it to  the actual planned release date. Normally the Title Year will change within a couple of weeks after the new Release Date is accepted. (The system to process these changes apparently is run less frequently than the normal updates.)

FYI: it is quite possible to have more than one film with the same Title and Year listed on IMDb. In such a case, a Roman numeral will be included in each full title in much the same way as Roman Numerals are used with names.

If you had entered the data that you believed to be correct, the film would have been shown as The Kid (2014/II) to start, but once the other film was removed it would have automatically to The Kid (2014/II), and you would not have had to do anything.
