What does it take to get project information updated? I'm the producer of a film and I've tried on multiple occasions to update the project with the CORRECT information. Dates below for attempts to update the info:

9.26.12
2.14.13
2.23.13
3.1.13
1.30.14

The plot summary is wrong. The poster associated is wrong. The video associated is wrong.

What good is an update/correction system if after a year and a half you cannot get anything done?!

You should read How to report problems effectively, which is linked from the second paragraph of the Message from IMDb.com on the index page of this site.

Note in particular the first 3 points :
1) Be very specific/detailed
2) Include a link
3) Identify yourself

David, I did all of those things each time I have submitted. I've been working with IMDB long enough to know that you have to follow their instructions to a T. :) But, still.... nothing.

But we're answering questions based on what you post here. If you sincerely want helpnwe need something to go on. If you want to blow off steam...have at it. But you can't get problem-specific advice without communicating the problem. We're not psychic (much).

Those dates are completely meaningless without any information to go with it. There are almost 3 million people listed. The odds you were the only one submitting those days are not good.

I understand that, and I appreciate the advice. Unfortunately, I believe the problem to be on IMDBs end with whomever or whatever is making these updates or adding posters and videos erroneously. My true hope is that in posting here I might get an actual response from someone at IMDB. Does that ever happen?

Yes. Daily. If it's a private matter you can contact staff directly (see the link on the main page). If not, there are experienced users that can help you get your ducks in order so you're most likely to get a credit submission accepted. I am not sure what you expect staff to say based on your initial post though. They'd also need more info. They are not psychic either. You'd be better off posting your submission ID #'s. They can't locate the problem based on what you've posted. They are the ones who posted the "How To Report.." list. You should not expect them to know what's going on based on what you posted.

Good luck.
